I might've been wrong in the past, but I prefer to think that the electorate's finally catching up to me:
- Gary Peters takes down "Toilet" Joe Knollenberg. (How sad the TV talking heads are still talking about us "losing" Knollenberg's Appropriations seniority, when he's never brought home the bacon and he'd have been in the minority, anyway... good riddance);
- Huge underdog Diane Hathaway upsets notorious Supreme Court
Chief Justicehack corporate tool Cliff Taylor; - Both proposals pass, suggesting that Michiganders actually acknowledge the relevance of compassion and science in our lives.
- And, the cherry on top: our polling machines in Birmingham suck.
Is that realignment I'm smelling?
For more details, here's the Oakland County Clerk's site and the Michigan Secretary of State.
I'm out.
