Thad McCotter beat my friend Tony Trupiano in the 2006 Congressional campaign in MI-11.
He's clearly a smart guy, though perhaps a bit full of himself.
He "stood up" to Boehner and still has a mancrush, but I'm still not clear on where they fall relative to each other on the CreepyMeter. Check out the flyer for his fundraiser. ^
